 ART OF A DIASPORA

Work representing an African and Caribbean theme. The artist’s work is heavily influenced by art and artists from the diasporas, their use of colour and acknowledgment of family and relationships.

Some of the more recent work featured was created for or inspired by the album ‘Pictures at an African Exhibition’ - a collaboration with American composer Darryl Yokley and his Sound Reformation. This project was inspired by Modest Moussurgsky’s orchestral work Pictures at an Exhibition where he wrote a symphony after being inspired by paintings of one of his close friends.

Featured and additional works are available for sale as limited edition prints and gift cards. For further information please contact the artist.
